Brown’s Oasis

With this city lot there was a limited size of pool that could be achieved in this yard along with a long wish list consisting of pool cabana, fire pit area, hot tub, storage shed, BBQ area and outdoor dining space. Luckily a lounge pool was all that the clients desired and we were able to work everything in that they were hoping for.

The entire yard is one cohesive space using large slab pavers to tie it all together with black accent borders around the perimeter and the pool coping. These black accents are repeated in the natural stone steps, railing, and black stain finish of the cabana.

We were able to keep two existing evergreen trees in both back corners and the existing tall shrubbery from the neighbours behind this pool landscape. This gave it a natural background landscape, along with some new additions to add seasonal colour around the perimeter of the yard and soften the wooden fence.

Every inch of this yard was landscaped complete with new slab paver stepping stones through small river rock to the existing storage shed and upgrading the typical plastic hot tub steps with luxurious natural stone steps.
